Discover a world of activities as you wander our lush grounds, dotted with fragrant flower beds and the shadows of maple trees. Make your way down to our gently sloping shore, where you can launch a canoe, kayak or rowboat. Bring your rod and reel along to catch dinner, or simply enjoy the tranquility of being out on the water, with its rhythm of gentle waves and sights and sounds of wildlife around you. Perhaps, you'll even take a refreshing dip. It's a nice respite from the summer sun.

In the mood for more fast-paced fun? You can practice your back swing on our tennis courts, swim laps in the heated pool or hop on one of our bikes to ride along Horseshoe Bay Road, Door County's most scenic route, lined with limestone bluffs and rolling farmland. Spring brings amazing wildflowers, lady slippers, trillium and violets, to the journey, and fall creates bursts of brilliant colors you'll never forget.

Unwind in the afternoon with a good book on your deck. Or catch a few rays from the lounge chairs peppering our manicured lawns. No matter what adventures you embark on during the day, bring your camera and head down to the shoreline as the sun begins to descend. Embrace your sweetheart or cuddle with your family and watch the sunset's array of breathtaking colors cascade across the bay's waters. It's the only suitable grand finale after such an amazing day in Door County.

But, the fun's not over yet! Build a campfire and recount the day's events over smores and laughter. Or, retire to your room to watch a family flick. Every Shallows unit has a color TV with DVD player featuring ESPN, CNBC, HBO and HBO Family, while all of our cottages and houses include satellite or cable TV. An extensive DVD library is also available for renting your kids favorite movie, or for couples looking to relax with a great romantic comedy.
